Join us on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, for an evening discussion on Technology Business & Society organized by the Yale SOM Technology, Net Impact, and Global Social Enterprise Clubs.

The mission of the symposium is to highlight the various aspects of the interaction between technology and society, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • The social, political, and economic impact technology business has on society
  • Current related global and domestic initiatives, both private and public
  • How technology helps non-profit organizations accomplish their missions
  • The expressions of social responsibility within technology related businesses

Bringing together students, academics, NGO’s, non-profits, journalists, and private companies from around the globe, our hope is to address a wide spectrum of issues relating to this broad topic.

Reception to follow

Sponsored by the Yale School of Management’s Program on Social Enterprise through a generous gift from Joanne Landau (SOM ’84). Additional support provided by the SOM Alumni Association and the Yale Graduate and Professional Student Senate.
